TK is a native of Tidewater, Virginia, and
the proud son of a distinguished naval officer. An alumnus of Penns
Wharton School, he is a former management professional in the financial
industry. He left the corporate world to pursue a career as an author
of historical fiction. He resides in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Marion involves himself in much community
service. He sits on the board of directors of the National Alliance
on Mental illness (NAMI), and is the President/CEO of the Thirteen
Stars Foundation, which is dedicated to giving
scholarships to persons with cystic fibrosis. (Partial proceeds
from novels authored by T. K. Marion subsidize the foundation.)
and Author for a Cause
that raises fund for numerous non-profits in the areas of education,
literacy, and veterans organizations.
TK is a former radio show host and has been
featured on television and radio talk shows, as well as print articles.
(He lives with bipolar disorder, a chronic
mental disease.)
