T. K. MARION BIOGRAPHY T.
K. Marion is a native of Tidewater, Virginia, and the proud son of a distinguished
naval officer. An alumnus of Penns Wharton School, he is a former management
professional in the financial industry. He left the corporate world to pursue
a career as an author of historical fiction. He resides in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Marion involves himself in much community service. He is a member of the
Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry, sits on the board of directors
of the National Alliance on Mental illness (NAMI), and is the President/CEO of
the Thirteen Stars Foundation, which is dedicated to persons with cystic fibrosis.
(Partial proceeds from Kill the Devil and subsequent novels authored by T. K.
Marion will subsidize the foundation.) He has been interviewed and featured
on local television and radio talk shows, and in several newspaper articles. He
is an experienced, entertaining speaker, his topics including writing, education,
history and mental illness. (He lives with bipolar disorder, a chronic mental
disease.) Kill the Devil is T. K. Marions third published novel.
The Tenth Symphony (2002) and Only the Beginning (2004) were penned under his
legal name, Tom Kubizek. His next book, East Wind, Rain, is a Cold War espionage
thriller and scheduled for release in 2008. In addition, he has two completed
novels that will follow East Wind, Rain, and is currently working on a sci-fi
thriller. His seventh novel, which he expects to finish by 2010, is a western
inspired by classic John Wayne and Clint Eastwood films.
